an independent intermediary dealing with selected motor insurers
and is regulated by The General Insurance Standards Council
for MyQuote's mutual security our telephone calls are recorded.
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. the Data
Controller in relation to any personal data you supply is
MyQuote. Information you provide will be used for the purpose
of insurance administration and renewal and may be checked
with a credit agency. BISL Limited exchanges information with
insurers through various databases to help check information
provided and also to prevent fraudulent claims. BISL Limited
will not disclose the personal data you provide about yourself
and others to other companies in our Group or other selected
companies for marketing purposes.
The
MyQuote motor quote request facility
To
save you time and confirm that MyQuote can deal with your
online quote request, please check that all of the following
apply:
- The
insurance risk relates to a vehicle in the UK, excluding
Northern Ireland
- The
vehicle has not been modified (other than sound equipment
and security devices)
- The
vehicle has a valid UK registration number and is not 'Q'
registered, and does meet UK specifications (e.g. it is
not a Japanese import)
- The
vehicle will not be used for driving tuition, motor trade
purposes, hire or reward, racing, rallies, "track days"
or competitions
- In
total, all of the drivers have not incurred more than 3
motoring convictions in the last 5 years nor had more than
3 accidents and/or claims in the last 5 years
- None
of the drivers have had motor insurance cancelled or declined
in the last 5 years or have a medical condition which requires
DVLA notification
